Florence and the Machine – 10 Game Changing Artists of 2010

Until September it did not look as if Florence and the Machine would change the game of music. But that changed after a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. There they performed the international hit Dog Days Are Over and it quickly became an instant classic. From there the song would be performed on every major television broadcast, including Dancing with the Stars and Saturday Night Live. Later in the year the song received the Glee treatment and shot up yet again on the iTunes chart.

Florence and the Machine changed the creativity process of music in 2010. They also earnedĀ the Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

Florence and the Machine, 2010 would not have been the same without you.
